LASSEN INTERNATIONAL, INC. APPOINTS
JONA-MARIE PRICE CEO
Price Will Work From Offices In Las Vegas, Nevada
Jona-Marie Price has been appointed CEO
of Lassen Holdings Inc., the parent company of Lassen International Inc.
The company includes galleries in Nevada and Hawaii, international sales
of original and limited art works by Christian Riese Lassen and licensing
of Christian Riese Lassen images throughout the world for over 1000
products. The announcement was made today by chairman and owner, Christian
Riese Lassen.
In his statement Mr.
Lassen said, "Jona-Marie has a history with the company that goes back to
the founding of Lassen International in 1985. We are all very pleased that
she has come back following a successful eight year career of heading her
own licensing firm, Artist & Repertoire, Ltd. At this time the company
is building on our continuing successes in the U.S. and Japan by expanding
into mainland China and specific markets in the eastern United States.
Jona-Marie has a proven track record with Lassen International and in her
own enterprises. I am confident she's the right person at the right time
for the expansion phase we have now begun".
Ms. Price was President of Lassen International when the company became preeminent in licensing Christian Riese Lassen's underwater and seascape artwork throughout the world. Some of Ms. Price's breakthrough projects included a relationship with Sumitomo Bank throughout Japan; a tremendously successful partnering with the Walt Disney Company wherein Disney characters including Mickey Mouse were incorporated into original Lassen art works and related projects...
Among Ms. Price's most active roles, will be the pursuit of new licensing relationships for the company with a strong emphasis in the electronics market, inspirational products and the creation of a children's and young adults educational program focused on underwater natural history materials. Ms. Price will be featuring many of Lassen's new artwork programs at the LICENSING 2003 tradeshow in New York at the Jacob Javits Convention Center - June 10 - 12, booth number 4143.
