Artist Christian Riese Lassen and entertainers Siegfried & Roy have formed an art alliance wherein Lassen will create up to 12 original paintings. The subject matter of the paintings will be Siegfried & Roy's white tigers, lions and cubs from their legendary show at Las Vegas' Mirage Hotel & Casino.
Lassen photographed and sketched the animals during several much publicized live sessions this winter. The artist is now creating the original paintings and these will later be transposed into some of his existing, iconic sea and landscapes. The completed work will form the foundation for a series of signed and limited edition prints. These will be marketed through Lassen Galleries and his extensive network of wholesale accounts throughout the world, including Japan where he remains that nation's number one artist. The company will begin an aggressive licensing campaign of these images headed by Lassen International Inc.
